wheel fitment on bagged obs

i got a OBS step side...laid out..
i am wanting to put 20s on it. my question is
what back spacing do i need for the tires not to rub the bed side when laid out.
bolt pattern is 5 on 5?
any suggestions one what wheels to get?

It depends on what wheel width 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, etc. For me I'm running 22x8.5 with 5 3/4 backspace but i know 5 1/2 will fit, again thats if its an 8.5 wide wheel, anything wider I am not sure, but someone on here will know. Take it easy

20x8 = 5in bs
20x8.5= 5.5 bs
20x9= 6bs
u get the point

u can get away with not having the best bs but u have to trim alittle of the fender inside

will 22s fit in the rear with a step side bed?

Yeah 22's will fit thats what I've had on my stepside for 3 years, now they will fit when layin frame but not with a B.D. without major fender mods. Take it easy

yea im not BD just laying frame. what is the difference in tire size? or what size tire should i run on 20? 22?

Hello, I am not sure what size for 20's, you should be able to run several different sizes on a 20, as far as a 22 I would run a 265/35 22 there is not room for much more than that. Take it easy.
