gmc stroker

I have a 93 gmc with a stroker i have installed a edlebrock performer intake with a adapter plate to go to my tbi and a bored tbi by extremefi that is rated at 750 cfm and 85 lb 454 injectors. I am also running a crane compu cam. My problem is that it seems like over 2700 rpm it starts to cut out like almost a bad cap and rotor or something but its all new(wires plugs cap rotor) i havent had the computer tuned for my mods could this be it ? it was doing this all the time so i retarded my timing 6 degrees and it helped.Could a multiple spark ignition box be the trick??
