Hey yall im lookin at gettin some new tires, and ive had my eye on the SS LTBs, either the 33x13.50/16s or the 34x10.50s. Does anyone know how many miles i could get out of these if my truck is kept aligned and the tires are rotated? Also would i have any front end trouble with the 13.50s and would my truck be able to handle them? I have a 2002 V6 4.3 litre 5 speed, with the stock gears and im running pro comp MT 285s right now which is about a 33x11 or so and ive never had a problem with those. Thanks alot for any help!

from what ive read on here is they dont last long maybe 10k out of a set they are very soft. what size wheel and how wide? the wider the wheel the more stress you put on your front end. if you want swampers id recommend the tsl's or the ssr's which are a radial and can expect 30-40k out of a set.

WORD.. every ltb ive seen on a daily looks like its about to fall apart.. chunks missing uneven wear and flat spots big enough to use as a table..

Im also looking at some brand new 305/70/16 firestone destination M/Ts all 4 for 820, mounted and balanced cause my buddy is a manager at the firestone here in this town, is that a great deal? i had those tires b4 in 265/75s and they were GREAT tires, but is that a great price for all 4?

I have a set of LTB's on my Bronco. I wouldn't recommend them
for a daily driver, but they are awesome off road. I only have
about 1300 miles of street use and can already see signs of
wear. Don't get me wrong they are a great tire for heavy offroad
use.

what about the super swamper trXus STS, it seems like it would be a bit of a better highway tire then the others?

they suck if you want a swamper get the ssr rotate every 3 take care of the tires and you can get 35-40k out of em and theyll perform better than any other mud grip
