I used this alternator on my 2004 chevy silverado 2500HD 8.1 liter for only a few thousand miles and the only reason I am selling is that I am doing a different setup. This is by far one of the best alternators built. As many people know, excessive amperage is one of the leading alternator companies in the US. This alternator is 250 amps of true power. It was barely used and works great. It will eliminate any headlight dimming due to offroad lights, winch, sound system, etc... Also, it is powdercoated red and has the factory GM plug-in for the harness. It will work on any year silverado/sierra, suburban/tahoe/avalanche and many other GM vehicles too.
