1976...... 3/4 ton coil in 1/2 truck

i need to lift the front of my 2wd 1/2 ton about 2" or so. has anyone tried the 3/4 ton coil?

I had stock HD (same as 3/4-1ton coils) in my 82 and had enough clearance to fit 32x11.50x15 tires with only minimal rubbing at the top of the fenders. 31s fit with no problems. It should level the truck out front to rear. Check the link in my sig for pics if you would like.

if you get them off a C6P optioned 3/4(HD chassis equipment RPO code) then it will sit up like a C30 does

they sat up pretty good in factory original form

very noticably higher than the c-10 and non- C6P trucks


the camper trucks are another source for these heavier coils, especialyl the 73-80 ones

they sit up pretty high too
