View Full Version : OBS 3500 Lift questions temporaptor 02-04-2007, 02:33 AM I have a 1999 OBS C3500 with the 454 and 8 lug, I think i want to go with the fabtech 4 1/2" lift spindles whats the biggest tire size i could go with and not Rub?? I think Fabtech says 33's But my factory tire size is like a 32 so that didnt make sense to me............... thanks...... i serioulsy doubt your tire measures up to be a 32... run what they tell you to with that lift.. 34 is the biggest i would go and you will prolly rub. also remember your new tire is going to be way wider than your old ones , you have to take that into account also. temporaptor 02-10-2007, 06:08 AM 235/85/R16 = Overall Diameter: 31.72 in so basically a 32 so 4 1/2 inches of lift should be able to fit more than a 33/12.50R16, but the 33 is 3 inches wider than my tires soo maybe that is the biggest i can fit, but i guess since no one else has this on their C3500 I will find out for myself when the time comes.............. 20002wdchevy 02-10-2007, 10:12 AM well ya, worse case scenario you have to run some small wheel spacers. do you have the factory wheels? temporaptor 02-11-2007, 11:34 PM yes , but i plan on getting some rims and tires when i lift it.......... vBulletin v3.5.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
