Possible Steering Wheel Swap?

Just wondering, can I swap out my stock, non-button steering wheel with the one that has buttons? Concerned that wiring is not available. I have a 2004 Tahoe and was just curious as to whether all Tahoes are wired the same but with the attachments upgraded.
