So I got a call lastnight that a friend was scrapping a 98 4door tahoe that was a theft recovery. I rushed down and started gutting it. I took the whole dash (minus gauge cluster since it wasnt there) the overhead console, door pannels with all wiring and switches, and the front seats/console.

Only thing I am unsure on is the seats. I can fab brackets no problem but am curious about the fit. My truck is at the paint guys place and will be for a bit still. So I am wondering if I can fit the seats. Will they go back far enough is the main concern as I am tall and need all the room I can get. ANyone done this? thanks

They will bolt in on the outside. The inside will just have to be drilled out. If you truck had buckets they will bolt into the factory holes.

I hope you got the inner metal part of the door panel also. I would get the bracket which mounts the column to the cab as well.

I didnt get the column mount. Didnt think of it and the truck has gone to scrap :( I took the inner metal door pannels along with the attached regulators, lock actuators, and everything else that is attached to them.
