Well guys, I've decided its time to ditch the rear seat and get custom...

This is what I came up with... It will house Two Alpine Type R 12's with an MRD M1005 Amp and a 4 Channel MRD F-545... (Yes, I'm staying with Alpine)

The Box face where the Speakers go will be covered in red suede as well as where the Amps mount... There Entire box will be Covered in 1/4" MDF rapped in Black Vinyl... The Faces that are Red will also get the 1/4" Black Vinyl Trim Pieces...

The Box will be on the back wall and extend as far as the stock seat goes...

Heres a little Diagram...

This is what I mean by Black Vinyl Trim Pieces over Red Suede... Instead of Wood grain mine will be red suede...

So what do you guys think? Any Suggestions?

On the Amp rack, Instead of Red Suede, Im thinking to do Plexi Glass and Sanding it to diffuse light and stick some Neon Under it...

You're building the box out of 3/4" mdf and covering it in 1/4" right? Sounds good, I like that unique whips box, it's sweet

M5, They will be on the Sides firing into the doors... What do you think? You can see it in the Side view...

Also, Yea, it will be built from 3/4 or 1" MDF and be wrapped with 1/4"...

Since you asked, if I were going to do all that work I'd use better drivers. Looks like it will be nice though. What volume and tuning are you planning on?
