CB instalation

I have been having some trouble wiring my cb from the inside to the battery. If any one has any sugjestions or tips that would be great.

Where is the CB at? You could go through the steering colum boot through the firewall to the batt.

you can just rig it up so that you can plug it into the cig lighter port, thats what i did

or tap into the fuse block at an open slot.

i cant figure out how to hook it to the cig lighter and how to get around to the back of it. I have a 2001 Z71 Silverado, I just got about two weeks ago.
