amp remote turn on wire location/sub question

I have a 2005 gmc 2500hd cc that I will be installing an infinity 5761a amp tomorrow. I need to locate a wire to tap into for the remote turn on for the amp, I am using the factory radio with single cd. I prefer to mount the amp under the rear seat with 1 sub but have no idea on a brand or size (10 or 12) of sub to use. Prefer a sub that crutchfield sales due to reasonable shipping to Ak, just want to have decent sounding bass.

In the fuse panel on the driver side part of the dash, there should be like 6 metal pins sticking out at the bottom of the fuse box. The bottom left pin goes on and off with the key. Thats usually your best bet. If you dont have that pin, you can tie it on with a fuse or go to the pink wire on your ignition harness.

As far as subs, check out the Kicker CVT, I believe crutchfield sells them in boxes already thatll fit behind your rear seat.
