Smoked my tail lights

What did you use (Brand) to do it? They look great man!

lol i used dupont chrome base and just some clear we had kicking around the shop. I was painting a black furd escape and had to set up a stand for the fender flares so i had a spare set of tail lights at home, so i wet sanded them with a 2000 grit and cleaned it. Now i gotta paint the truck to get them to look good lol. I gave it 2 light coats of base and 2 coats of clear.

You lost me on that. I'm not a painter. I thought you set them on the highest rack of a grill while you smoke some meat or something...HA HA Surssly I thought you paint them with a product that is basically thinned out black paint. Or is that what you did? They look way cool however you did it. Jay

Just regualar black paint. Just turned down the paint gun and gave it 2 liight coats with time in bewteen each coat
