i get 18mpg in this thing on the hwy at 70mph, and yes the speedo and odometer are reading correct so it truly is 18mpg(the lightweight wheels is a big part of this)

i am selling this b/c i want another zq8 s10, i had one and have wanted it back eversince...make offer would consider trading for a mint 00-up extcab 4.3/auto, power options ZQ8/Extreme truck

i would also trade for a reg cab new body style silverado/sierra with a v8/auto..can be 4.8 or 5.3, must have pwr windows and locks, 2wd, and anything but the dark camel/tan interior, i dont like that color and dont want to have to change it, any exterior color with gray or charcoal interior is fine

not bashing anyone here, i have had many local offers from autotrader for this, everyone's defense is "well thats what blue book value says"

i will not accept anything less than 12 unless i start taking parts off of it, i dont care what Kelley says about my blue book value..i am not trading it in at a dealership so i dont care what KBB or NADA or Edmunds.com says it is worth...do some research and you will see there are very few of these trucks for sale period, especially one that is as nice as this one

I did make an offer around 7K, actually 7,500. I was not low balling you due to our trade possibility. We were discussing a trade deal & I also low balled the price on my car. I did not mean to make you upset. I would also love to get more for my car but all the buyers will wait for the best deal ever or do without. If we both paid retail for each others vehicle we would still end up with the same end result. I used KBB trade in numbers for both vehicles, but we could look at it anyway you want to, as long as we do it the same way for both cars.

I understand your concern & that you want to get the most out of a deal. I do also.

no hard feelings of any kind, i have had about 6 other offers from autotrader and local craigslist where people are trying to offer 7000 or so cash when i have clearly posted it for 13,000, i dont know of anyone that would take half of what they were asking...so why even bother to put that out there, and i will admit my price isnt in the title and could be easy to skim over here in FSC

and my brother has a Z just like yours so i know how nice they are and wish i could afford to take it off your hands, but right now i really need a truck that is around the same price as the tahoe

Nice truck, be prepared to keep getting lowball offers. Rarely do you ever get back what you put into customizing a vehicle. People only wanna pay kbb or nada, or less. I hope someone comes through with what you are looking for in a trade.

thanks rich i appreciate it, i know i just need to have some patience and eventually someone that knows how much work that goes into custom trucks will appreciate it and offer a fair price...so far i think the majority of the people calling have never even put in an aftermarket stereo...they have no clue what they are calling for..not saying it is something like a typhoon or something really special....but these tahoes arent a dime a dozen ya know....just my .02
