so i dont wash my truck in these things but my dad does. is there anything in these car washes that hurt your paint or are they ok to use. if they do hurt your paint what is it about them that do becuase i have hurd that they do hurt your paint after a while. thanks!

Lazer wash around here means the touchless automatic car wash. IF that is what you're talking about, here's what I can offer.

Those things have to use some potent products to remove dirt from a paint finish without any mechanical agitation (cloth or brushes...any rubbing). Those same products are very effective at removing wax and paint sealants.

The ones I've been through only get the top layer off, they dont actually get it clean.
