Autopage 750 LCD remote start question

i sdont know if anyone else has this alarm..... its like top of the line... i can even see the tempeture inside the cab!

but anywhom...... well i have a 2000 chevy z71.... and when i use the remote start my stereo turns on.... and when i turn it off with the remote.... my stereo stays on.... cause it wont turn off untill u open the door :D which sucks.... cause my stereo emptys my battery within 1 song :cussing: so is there a way to make my alarm turn off my stereo? cause i have tried the dome light override switch and it turns it on and off with a stock everything.... but this alarm somehow makes it reset all the time.... so anyone's input would be apreicated! o ya... p.s. in fron of the cup holder in a tape deck kinda thing..... anyone know where to get somthing to replace that with live a tv or a cb or stereo or somthing :read:

I have a Compustar alarm and I have the same problem. But I don't worry about it running the battery down. I have the problem of that whenever I turn the truck back off with the remote the radio stays on and the bass will make the alarm start going off.:bawl:

I wonder if there is a way to get the radio to turn off when the key is turned off not when the door is opened. Anybody know?

How about if I install an aftermarket CD player. Do they stay on after the key has been turned off?

mine is a aftermarket stereo..... but i just though of a anwser..... i wonder if i change the power wsource of the stereo to a differnt fuse..... like the 4 wheel drive fuse or somthing.... and just put a bigger fuse on the place that way it is only enabled when the truck starts..... with my radar detector i put it on the 4x4 fuse... so it just comes on when the truck is turned on :D thanks for the idea.... even though u didnt really think of it... u kinda led me to it! :D :rocking: :rocking: :fsc: :boobies:
