OBS vs. NBS rear bench seat

i recently removed my back seat from my OBS extended cab and am removing the bottom cushion and using the box i am going to build as the seat. but i was wondering if instead of the way the OBS seat is installed in the truck. if i could replace it with NBS mounts and just both the seat cushion to that?

i am sure there is a way to bolt the seat cushion to the obs mounts. like they say, where there is a will there is a way.

well i dont like the way those posts come out to mount the OBS seat. so i am going to look into changing it to the NBS way that mounts to the floor
