Anyone got any tips on replacing the armrest on the driver's side door?
I'm trying to figure out how to pull off the panel with the window switches without breaking it!! I can't tell if the whole panel has to come off or what...
Thanks for any advice.

I just looked at my door panels (sitting in my kitchen next to my computer) from my '93, and you will have to remove the door panel to get the armrests off. They attach with what I can only desribe as push-on metal discs with cuts in them in such a way that they won't pull off without likely damaging something.

To remove you door panels, use a panel tool, or flat screwdriver and pry around lower edge and sides of panel. Then lift it upwards (it hangs from the window lip.) It should come right off. I also use a rag when prying to protect my paint. You could use duct tape also.

Hope that helps....

That's a big help.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
