Hmm maybe you all can help me out here, did I get hosed? I want to go lower and the truck above is definately lower than mine.

(i read a little on this thread like a year ago, but just recently started paying attention to it...)

I bought this kit:

kit included this: torsion bar key, shackle and hanger...
(photo is generic for kits)

truck:
(parked on curb/road, so looks higher than really is, but it still needs to be lower)

the shop told me that it couldn't go any lower in the rear without new leaf springs, so they lowered front accordingly with the rear.

Pull the blocks out from inbetween the axel and leafspring. That will get ya 2" more. Then lower the tortion bars to level it out. I hope to do this this spring. I have all ready removed my rear blocks and its not rocket science. That sounds kinda sourcastic but its not ment to be.

grunmn your truck doesnt have liftblocks.. i thought that maybe his tires were just bigger than yours assuming your have like 285-45? but they would be pretty close.. im not sure why that truck sits lower than yours, but i know with the setup you have right now yours could be as low in the front. new leafsprings might be your only option

yea, my tires are 275/45/20. maybe I can just pull a spring. I do go riding in the summer though, wonder how much it'd affect how much weight I can hold.
