You might be able to with your stock keys. Just loosen them and see how low you go. I know ian got his pretty low with his, but you're right and he'd most likely be the one to ask

sorry outkast i didnt ever see your post. im pretty sure you can get close to or even 2" with stock keyes. its soo easy to do, you can see for yourself and if you dont like it you can lift it back up or if it doesnt go low enough you can get the lowering keyes. all you have to do is jack the front end up and loosen the 2 18mm bolts equally. make sure you dont go too far out either. leave it about 2 full 360 degrees screwed in atleast.
as far as ride. lowering it with the keyes limits the amount of front travel you have. mine bottoms out pretty frequently but mines also about 3-4 inches lower. if you want to keep stock ride and can run 17" or larger wheels all the time id get spindles. they are a bit more money but maintain stock ride, and stock suspension geometry.

well its done lowered it with stock keys all the way down and took out the block in the back
i also have that shur trax water bag thing that they had on "trucks tv" in the back bed
my truck had pulled to the right hard even before i lowered it so i got an alignment after i lowered it and its perfect
my measurements even with the center of the rim to the btm of the fender flares are
driver frt 35 pasg frt 34 1/4
driver rear 35 1/2 pasg rear 35
pics will be up soon
also the 24" wheels on 305 35 r24 only rub the bottom corner part of the plastic on the bumper when i am turning going up the driveway, normal driving doesnt rub at all
