If a 2wd Belltech kit is just springs/shocks for the front, will it work on a 4wd truck? I want to do a 3/4 drop on my '02 z71 but I'm having trouble putting my finger on a kit that's exactly what I need.

This kit looks like what I need, except that it says it's for 2wd applications...

what suspension does a z71 have? if it has coil springs then yes you could do something like that. but i thought most 4x4 trucks had a tosion bar front suspension setup, in that case you dont actually have any springs

2wd and 4wd are the same stuff in the back, except the 4wd has the lift block. 4wd have torsion bar suspensions up front. almost all 2wd have springs. i have heard of some having torsion bars as well. so no, springs up front on your 4wd wont work.

Ahhh sweet, so then I'd be better off going with the McGaughy's spindles instead. Thanks!
