Tuning a BBC...

Was thinking about a 427 tall deck buildup, with (hopefully) around 4-500 FWHP... is this very doable in a TBI setup? The truck was set up as a 4.3 TBI, but now houses a 350 TBI. Would such a thing be a bear to tune, or even possible with that kind of power? The motor is a 73 vintage...

I'm just a big fan of the TBI, and if I could use it over a carb I would love to. I'd like to get in to tuning TBI anyway, so this might be a nifty learning experience... :rolleyes:

You'll need a 454 TBI and injectors to reach 400HP.

You need the 454 TBI for airflow reasons, but 350 injectors can be used up to 375-400 FWHP.
