Whats the best way to tune for Acceleration Enrichment? I've been messing with it as my intake craves it and so far I've managed to either have it nearly die from a lean condition when I stomp on it when warmed up or flood out and die whenever I so much as breathe on the gas peddle both cold and hot. The ST fuel trims never really seem to change much in response to more or less AE enrichment too. I had it pretty close where it would just rip when standing on it from a dead stop but then the next morning I hardly made it out of the driveway and back into the driveway without killing it half a dozen times. I know there is an AE vs Coolant temp table to that needs attention but I wanted to get a good idea of how to tune it before going any further.

Does anyone care about acceleration enrichment other then me? Right now I'm running double the stock table and so far its not effecting cold engine acceleration and I've just about got the big dead spot gone when I stomp on it. I know there has to be a more accurate way of tuning AE then this. Someone has to know.

By the sounds of it, I'd say you're almost done, you just need to massage that AE vs Coolant table.
If you doubled the AE vs delta TPS and AE vs delta MAP, then you could be going pig rich when it's cold.
The stock AE vs Coolant table uses 5 times the normal amount of AE when it's freezing, so if you doubled the stock table, that's 10 times the normal amount of AE.
I'd say start lowering your cold values in AE vs Coolant and see if that helps your cold bog a bit.

At first I was messing with the wrong AE vs coolant temp table. There is a coefficient something er other one and then the AE TPS vs coolant temp and I pretty well cut it in half from what it was. I will try it tomorrow evening and see what it does but I think this should help a lot.

Rbob over at thirdgen told me it was best to have INT swing SLIGHTY lean on tip in. FWIW

I don't have any luck going by the INT but according to my last datalog it went just a few clicks north of 128 when I romped on it. Actually now with the hotter thermostat it sometimes has a stumble from too much fuel. As far as the table goes does it need to be scaled up smoothly, or just a quick sharp jump up to whatever it needs?

Give the engine what it wants.
Nice smooth tables are easier for us to understand, but they generally aren't what is best for the engine.
I'd say have your AE tables a bit lower in the bottom end of the table (light tip-in), but in the top end (heavy tip-in, where you're really mashing the pedal) you'll want to have it richer.
Don't forget that when you mash the pedal and your manifold vacuum drops way down, fuel condenses on the manifold walls. For this reason (and some others) you need more AE.

I've almost got it. As of the last run I've got too much AE on tippin at light throttle but when tromping on it the response was good but not quite enough. Lowered my low throttle tip in AE and gave it even more higher up and I think it should smoke both tires now. On the last run it launched hard enough to make the chit in my dash cubby hole fly out and the chit on top of my console land in the back seat. Only thing is I'm getting this erie driveline clunk right after the initial launch. Even if I torque the driveline up first and then launch it still does it.
