Thread from '03 on this, but thought I'd ask again. I'm sure you've all seen the commercials for this stuff. You can get it just about anywher (even Wal-Mart). I've used it on my old S-10 and it worked pretty good where I had some scratches from branches. Anyone else have experiene with it? I've also seen DA on here. Might be stupid but what does that stand for?

DA, when used in the detailing and exterior forums, refers to the "Dual Action" motion on either a sander or one of the converted sander into polisher machines.

Porter Cable (PC) makes one of the more popular DA-style machine for paint polishing.

Another one (my preference) is the Cyclo polisher, also in the "DA" category.

DeWalt, Bosch, and others make electric DA machines that fit in this category.
