I just got these tires and I love them! They are quiet and I tested them out in a gravel bed with 4WD and they bite really sweet. They have a layer (or 2?) of Kevlar sidewall belts. I checked all around town looking for the best deals I could find and then I went on the internet. I saved a BUNCH of money, paid NO taxes and had them delivered in 1 working day for $597.36 total price including shipping.

Best price I could find locally was $644 and that was not including tax. Website I got them from was www.tirerack.com and I would give them 4 stars.

I went with the load range E tires which cost me a lot more than the D tires, but I sometimes haul a full bed of gravel and rocks.

As someone who used to sell tires for a living, I can agree the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor is an excellent tire. It has a layer of Kevlar underneath the tread, which makes it much stronger and puncture resistant.

Good choice going for the E-Load Range. I know they cost more but in addition to being rated to carry more weight, they actually have a more comfortable ride than the C or D rated tires. This is due to the specially designed bead on the sidewall of the tire, which is only on the E-Load Range.

Enjoy them.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression the sidewalls were kevlar belts. Oh well, now I know something new. Interesting info on the higher load range too.
