tranny swap?

what all would be involved to swap out my 4L60E to a larger better 4L80E.

My truck is a 93 with 305, and I am wanting to tow my bagged and bodydropped mazda show truck with it. I hear alot of bad things about these 4L60e's when it comes to towing.
