I have a key and shackle kit on now thats set at 2/2 and I want to go lower. Is there a kit out there that will help me slap the truck down lower?

get hanger for rear so can drop more.
and turn torsion key all the way like leave 2 threads. so it will drop lower than 2" that's what I did on mine. it dropped almost 3" in front.

I was told that the front hanger wont work on the 2drs. Another question is I would like to still use 4wd is there a way to retain it?

you can use 4wd even if it's bagged.
you can prob take the last spring off the rear to drop another 1"

Hm, now this sounds interesting...

Maybe a 3.5 inch rear lower spring. with the 2inch hangar I already have and crank down the torsion key almost all the way???

So that would be a 3/5 or so???

I cant really find anything I like. The selection is pretty slim, plus I'm still kinda scared to order a set of wheels just to find out they dont fit either....lol

I wish I could go bagged, sadly this trucks going to be driven all year round and the cold winters here sometimes get down to -30 to -40. I dont want to risk a cracked bag..etc.

ah ha! yeah you are in Alaska. well seen few people daily driven bagged truck but maybe more south than where you are.
I'm drivin mine daily. that's why I haven't set to lay frame.. so in any case the bag will fail, I can still drive and make turns.... and not going to be comfortable ride though but this way I can drive home or wherever I need to get it fix...

Yeah, I think I found a 72 2wd that I may try to get for cheap... That will get bagged and BD'd.

I was wondering, are there any problems I should watch for with a 3/5 drop??? Lowering by spring and shackle is ok right?
