how do you read and understand the Hack

I've got the Hack for my PCM but I have a heck of a time finding anything, let alone actually understanding what its saying and how to setup the table, constant, or flag I might be wanting. Is there a users manual on the hack or am I just too dense to figure it out?

I know all the ins and outs of both the hardware and the firmware, even the embedded micro code of the Motorola family of CPU's. A good understanding of both hexadecdimal and binary math is essential to understanding the code side. If all you want to do is be able to pick out the tables and add them to your definition file, then you can learn that pretty easily without all the math. HTH
