Do you have the part number?
I looked at their website briefly, I only saw one listing for your vehicle - the U7193.

Have you done much tuning on 06 gm pickups with the 5.3 V-8. Also, I guess you mail out a programmer with the tune already installed on it? And how can you get the A/F ratio right without doing the tune in person?

We just tuned a 5.3L V8 in a 2005 Silverado locally a few weeks ago, and a 6.0L V8 in a 2004 Silverado SS the week before that. We also tuned a 2003 Avalanche and a 2001 Silverado, both with 5.3L V8s. I'll check, but I doubt GM made many significant calibration changes between 2005 and 2006.
Yes, we send a programmer out with the custom program on it, you flash your truck, then send it back when you're finished with the pre-paid shipping label.
Our tunes are based on what we've learned on the dyno, and these Gen III V8s (in both the cars, and trucks) are predictably way too rich at WOT. On the wideband, with stock tunes we frequently see AFRs in the mid 11s, you want to see 12.7:1 for optimum power.
As we do tend to see a slight varation from vehicle to vehicle, on mail order tunes, we aim closer to 12.3 to maintain a margin of safety in case the particular engine happens to run a bit leaner then most.
Recognizing that this kind of tuning may require minor "tweaks", when we sell programming to customers, we ask them to test drive the vehicle before they send the programmer back, so we can email them adjustments if they find anything.

yeah it is the u7193, the only one that will work for mine. but my question was about if they are any different from one company that sells it to the next. i see some places at 399 and others at 299 the one i bought was 297 with free shipping. just wondering if there was a difference or not.

I see - my guess is the difference is the markup each company is selling the product at...

wow, dug this one up huh?? lol. Tuner works great if you dont intend on any really SERIOUS tuning. but for a sweet upgrade from stock shifts and power it worth what they go for.
