welli would put this in the audio section but since it is more bout fit and looks i thought this was the best fit. i am looking for pics of what you guys are running for subwoofer boxes in you standard cad truck. i am bouncing around ideas such as buckets with a box between or a slim fit bow, or even a custom enclosure. pics of your boxes would help move the think bank along.

Not really what you're looking for, but for my truck with a bench and the factory tools and jack behind the seat, I could only get a single sub and compact box to fit.

Here is pick of one I did about 10 years ago that was built into the truck. I had to rip it out a couple of months ago because a leak in the back glass screwed it up.

I having the same problem as 1ugly88. Need the seat all the way back. Think that the only way is to switch to bucket seats and build a center counsel w/ built in sub box. That's just my 2 cents though. OBSSC. Want to put a cvr 10 inch in and that's the only way that I can think of doing it other than having the sub hit the back of the seat. Sorry no pic's but in the same boat.

There is plenty of room under my bench seat, you could do a very custom box with 2 8"/10"/12" subs that would probably be pretty cool. My box really doesn't interfere with my seat because it's all the way back as it is, and it's still not far enough back.

One of the reasons I love being a 5'2'' girl, don't need the seat all the way back and still have rooms for my toys. Maybe you could get something under the seat. Or maybe if you have buckets with the center console you could delete the console and build something to go in place of it.

Heh, this is why I love my extended cab. Im 6'4" and sit comfortably :). As for my subs, they sit in a huge box upright in the back seat lol.

It's not finished and in the truck yet, but here's a console I'm making. No subs in it, but plenty of room for one.

I had a guy here in Stillwater build it for me (Audio Midwest) and then my buddy and I prepped and painted it with PPG base coat/clear coat to match the truck. It's made from wood and smoothed out with body filler.....no fiberglass :D

It was around $275 for the guy to build it and I had him leave it raw because a buddy of mine owns a paint and body shop...so we prepped and painted it. Cost of materials was minimal for paint :D

D-Bob thats what i was looking for! i wasnt a smooth custom painted box that wil sit behind my seat. how far did ya have to move the seat up? looks great by the way.

Thanks guys....as far as the seat goes, I have more room now than when I had my q-logic boxes back there. The guy that built it had me put my seat in it's normal position and he took measurements from there....so I didn't lose any leg room, I actually gained some. :D
I did have to move the center console forward though...you can see the rail system I fabbed up in one of the pics above. I used some square tubing and bolted it to the floor in the original holes and just put some bolts in the square tubing with the threads up to go through the console.

I was in a bit of rush when I did mine so I have a prefab box with a Rockford slim sub in it, MTX 3001 under the box and a Rockford 4004 powering my comps out front and 4x6 in rear
