Tranny?!?!?

imnew to the chevy seen been a ford fan all my life n got my 1st chevy full size blazer 94....they motor is gonna get replaced wit a 350 maybe even a stroked 350....i dont have any idea what tranny this beast has so is someone could tell me what kind of tranny they have or do they recommand...im kinda on a budget since the motor is gonna run me dry for the most part....or if anyone has any good 350 tranny combos that arent to bade priced im open to what everyone has to feed on to me n really appreciate it thanks for takin the time to read this thread and hopefully ull help me

Your truck has a 4l60e it's a pretty good trans I have on in my 94 Z71. Mines been rebuilt put a shift kit in it, installed bigger trans.pan, bigger trans. oil cooler and trans. temp. gauge to keep an eye on things. I would recommed these mods. to anyone with a 4l60e. But if your low on funds and the transmission goes threw the gears fine and doesn't slip. I would service it, make sure it has a good sized cooler and drive the mess out of it.

well im not sure i just bought the truck a week ago and it has 258000 on the speedo but the guy b.s.ed me tellin the motor is new wit 30000 miles and tranny is new wit 25000 so im lookin to hopefully do a motor swap for maybe a new 350 maybe a stroked if anyone has good ideas a little on the cheaper side im all ear and thank you

The 4L60E can be beefed up to handle more power. Is it a 4X4?
