Hi all, we've recently signed up to sponsor FullSizeChevy.com and wanted to let you know about our product.
We offer mail order PCM programming with a twist - rather then having you send your PCM to us, we send an exclusive hand-held programmer to you with your custom program on it. When you're done programming your truck (takes about 10 minutes), you send it back with the prepaid shipping label.
We generally see 20-25HP and almost 30TQ gain with our programming, but this does vary from vehicle to vehicle.
Our programmer currently supports 99-07 Gen III GM V8 Trucks. If there's enough interest we could make it work on the 96-99 "black box" Vortec PCMs as well.
We're going to run an introductory special for FSC members only, I'll post it in our specific Vendor forum.

:rocking:
Sooner or later, I'd be interested in the "black box" programming.

Good enough for me. I'll add it to the work schedule now.
Maybe you want to help us test it. ;-)

Which email address are you sending email to? Some other people have reported having trouble sending us email, I will look into it.
For the 1997 Vortec 5.7L, we don't have the programmer ready for it yet, but it's on our list of things to do.

We can do custom PROMs for the TBI ECMs. Shoot me a PM with your mods and we can discuss further, if you like.

I'm not quite at the stage of needing one, but hopefully will be soon. I was just wondering if you guys did. I will definately be in touch though when I need one!
So is this a custom tune just like other custom tunes or is this more like a Hypertech that does not do alot of things..??
If you have time shoot me a pm if you could I dont know alot about al this but ..

It's a custom tune, like other custom tunes, except we use a handheld device to deliver it to you, rather then requiring the PCM/ECM/TCM to be sent to us.
Check out http://www.trifectaperformance.com/6Steps for a walk-through of our service.

Sweet someone tuning in WA, I'm over in Spokane. I might have to hit ya up for 1 or 2 when I get back to the states.
I have to say this is the best thing i have seen yet.
I really liked the idea of a custom tune but did not care for taking out my ecm. this is great i think.
soon as i get my OBX LT headers i wil be calling you guys.
thanks for the info :)

I went ahead and purchased a tune w/ gt tuner package from Vince week before last. Talked to him on the phone a couple of times, he answered all of my questions, he handled it well, even when I told him I was skeptical of most mail order tunes...
Anyway, I got my gt tuner this past week, heeoked it up got about 1/4 way through and BAM, "error, do not turn off vehicle press retry"? or something like that.
Anyway, now the handheld does not even see or connect to my pcm, which I know was good, my truck was running.
Anyway, Vince did tell me he would be out of town this week, Hope when he gets back we can get this taken care of.
I'm sure it's nothing that can not be fixed.
Update to come.
***edit-
Vince called me today (Sunday), explained that there was probably an OS problem. I had no clue...he is going to send me a pcm and I'll send him mine back.
gotta say thx for calling me on a Sunday!
Update when I get pcm.

well, it turned out to be an os problem, Vince shipped me a new pcm FAST! And came already tuned.
Popped it in, it started right up. I am still having a popping issue, he says it could be a bad/leaking injector. We are going through some troubleshooting right now.
Don't hesitate to do business with Vince/Trifecta.
He and his company have 1st class customer service, hard to find these days.
