Well after only having it for about 2 months, I've decided I want to sell the 442 and move on to something else. The main reasons I wanna sell it is because I bought it built and I'd rather build something myself, and also because I want a 5 or 6 spd in a car :read:

The cars got an Olds carburated 350 from 68-70 with a few mods. Its pretty fast, and it will throw you back in your seat pretty good. The trans is a 200r4 with a shift kit and a torque converter. Its got a posi rear with 4.10 gears. The car runs and drives great, it dosen't leak any fluids or anything like that. Always starts right up. The paint is like brand new with no rust or anything. Theres just a few dings here and there, but it's nothing major. The underbody of the car is in great shape for being 20 years old. Theres very little rust under the car. The whole time I've had the car it's sat in my garage. I waxed it at the end of June and it feels like I just waxed it yesterday. I just run the california duster over it every now and then, and it's been kept real clean. The interior is also in great shape for being 20 years old. Its got an autometer RPM gauge built into the dash, and an autometer temp gauge and oil pressure gauge built in underneath that. Theres a small hole in the drivers side seat and the headliner is missing in the rear. Thats the only problems with the interior. It passed NJ inspection and it's good til 2009. Its got header back exhaust with flowmasters and no cats. It sounds great and it's like the 2nd loudest car in my town. The cars got t-tops and comes with GM t top bags to put them in.

If you have any questions please email me at camaroguy87132@yahoo.com

I may be interested in some trades. I'm looking to get 5500 for the car, but I'm pretty negotiable on it. Thanks, Matt

Heres some pics of the car

why do they call it a 442 when it has a 350?

Originally the Cutlass and the 442 were two different cars based on the GM A-body style. Same family as the Chevelle, Skylark, GTO, LeMans, Tempest, and a few more. In the body style that Camaroguy has, the G-body, they had offered the 442 again as a performance option like the SS on the Monte Carlo's during the same time period. Depending on the year the "442" meant different things. Originally on the first one in 1964 it was FOUR barrel, FOUR speed, TWO door.
