cutting 2" off seat brackets

i came across this idea after viewing this cardomain page:

i looked around once or twice but i dont think its occured to anyone to try it out.i think this type of mod is aimed more towards the bagged or guys who really want that low feel.im interested because im a short guy and well my truck is bagged and i wouldnt mind making it feel lower.my seats are a bit diffrent and are the newer style buckets if i had some welding knowledge id attempt it myself but has anyone done this?brave enough to attempt it? thankz

Wow... I would have done SEVERAL other upgrades before ever considering dropping that POS truck. :eek: I wonder if that guy thinks he's cool or something? :whatever:

Give the guy a break, I mean, why spend money on paint befor your done with the bodywork? I learned the hard way a few times, paint should be the last thing you do. Truck should look badass when its done.
