ok not sure if this goes here or in tech section...but i went to summit racing the other weekend and picked up a trans-dapt tb spacer and installed it a week ago i followed the instructions did everything it said truck runs fine but when i rev the truck and let off it drops from the rev slow like its sticking or something but everything was fine before the tb spacer what gives???no leaks used starting fluid sprayed around while running no drops in rpm only when i rev

You need to adjust the throttle cable. Installing the spacer changes the angle of the bracket.

yep,i raised the bracket and angled it alittle still same problem

With the stock style manifold, MY TBI engine responded GREAT to a 1" open center TBI spacer.

The thrott;e blades may be hanging up on something. I would just double check the install.
As far as spacers working, I changed over from the 1/2 to a 1 inch spacer today. I also installed an open element air cleaner. I had to use my turbo city salad bowl base to get it to mount clean. It really woke up my combination even more.

well it seemed to work itself out anyway thanks for the help now on to finding body parts :damnit: which are few and far between when you live in the rust capital or the world
