hey guys i got a 96 silverado with a 305 5 speed . anywayssss the truck has a pcm4less computer in it with whatever he did to it .

well im having a 350 put it in this week cuz the 305 let go . now the guys gonna wanna start it and make sure everythings good before he gives it back to me . can he start it on that tune and make sure all is well then ill two it back home and send the computer out and have it redone ?

i have a feeling no due to different knock sensors and such ?

Assuming that it is running the same sized fuel injectors, it should be able to start up just fine.

sweet . i just thought that since its different knock sensor and mapping that it would hurt it . im gonna have it retuned its just i gotta make sure it runs first there then ill bring it home and send computer back . unless pcm4less sends u one asap then u send old one back . seeing i alreayd have one done by him

It should,I've seen a 4.3 pcm run a 305(****ty,but technically it ran)
Also seen a 5.3 ECM/Cal running a 6.0(also pretty crappy,but not terrible)
