hey guys :cool:

i've got a '94 chevy 4x4 350 auto w/3.42s. i'm finishing up a 6" tuff country lift today; running 15x8s and 33x12.5 BFG ATs. here's some pics of it at the shop for the lift install. these aren't pics of where the progress is now. all i need to put on the truck is the tie rod ends, brakes, wheels and tires. then of course, run down to the alignmebt and exhaust shop and THEN its done :tongue:

Very nice truck!!:head: I had a '98 z71 which I miss alot. I have an '01 but its not the same as that good ole 350. By the way Shorts it says on your location Corpus Christi; where about exactly? I'm from Portland, Tx.:rocking:

3.42 aren't bad gears with 33's that is what i'm running but I also have a manual tranny.

TreZ, i'm out in calallen..i'll head up to SA when school starts up again next week. my uncle has a shop out in taft, and that's where we installed the lift.

my power will take a hit with the gears i have, but, i'll have to live with it for a while :( i got new ujoints! :D

one thing that crossed my mind a while back was a new VSSB, but, i figured not to spend any money on that until after i regear. things shouldn't be too far off anyway...maybe about 7% difference in odo and speedo. i'll just adjust for that by watching my mph lol

no way - small world :cool: i actually have several uncles there in taft...one uncle has a welding shop there right off 181 behind the feed store. my other uncle has a garage out at his house, off the long CR that runs behind the elementary school(thats where i lifted my truck). i have to drive over to the welding shop to get a couple support straps welded in on the rear hangers later this afternoon. if you grew up in taft, you probably know of my uncle and his sons.
