View Full Version : Parts List for 99 2dr Tahoe
Looking to bag my 99 2dr. I would like a list of reccomended parts for the installation, plus is there a suggested kit for the front that will still allow use of the 4wd?
I was thinking a four link rear from KP, with contitech bags, five to seven gallon tank... As for compressors and other hardware I'm at a loss.

since you are retaining the front axle, there is really no kit available. not sure if any of the front plate kit will work might need to fabricate the plate for it.
for the rear, 4link from KP or airride one will work fine.
I say at least 7 gallon. I have 2 5 gallon with 4 viair 380 so I have some play time and pretty well fill time with them.
good luck.
I took a look at 2LOW4ND's setup on his old 4X4 and I'll be using that as a base for the front setup. I'll be using a KP 4 link w/ panhard bar... I think I may go for two 5 or one 10 gallon tank and at least two compressors from viair.

yeah that should be good setup to go.
Nice... now what do you reccomend for air management? From what it seems like everyone here runs something different.

if you are going more than 5 gallon. like 2 5gallon or 1 10
then at least 2 viair 450 I think. I use 4 380c so fill time is pretty quick.
don't know everyone else but that way I can play with my bags few times before it goes out.
if you look at video on my cardomain

see how many times I can go up down etc before I need to kick in the compressor.

I think 2 450's would work perfect... I read some good things about them, I was also considering a belt driven compressor with a 12v as a backup.

I would make belt driven as primary and viair as backup.
it will fill up much faster and also quiet as well.
AGGGH!! Too Many Decisions!!!
