Alarm install how to thread???

hey what's up everyone, i'm going to install an older viper 550 in my truck. just wondering if there is a how to section for installing alarms/remote starts, i checked all through the how to stickys, but didn't find anything. i know each company is slightly different, but the truck wires are all the same

I was planning on writing a how to when i put mine in, but didnt get around to it...If you have any specific questions, theres quite a few ppl on this site that can answer them for you.
