Hey everyone, Just wondering how would I go about connecting a 2 channel amp to power my subwoofers through my factory radio? I dont have the bose soundsystem, but I do have onstar, so I dont really wanna change headunits. Is it possible to run a amp and subwoofers with a stock headunit? thanks

Just need to get some line output converters and wire them up to the rear speaker wires this will allow you to run RCAs to your amp.
Something like this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-kQtinIme6xr/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=721&I=101PL2&search=line+output+converters

awesome, so that takes care of the rca's. What about the remote turn on? Does that come off the converter too?

Pac audio has a piece that give you 4 rca and remote turn on. Ebay has them for around $50. I've been thinking about getting one myself.

Thats a nice little toy. Woulda been nice to run that instead of my setup but I have a mp3 adapter going into where that plugs into. If you dont use something like that its fairly simple to find a 12v to tap into for a remote turn on.

Its the module that Onstar and the Chimes run through. You can do the install without it, but neither will work.
