trans temp gauge using existing sendor??

I started datalogging my transmission and it shows realtime fluid temp along with a bunch of other things and I was wondering how hard it would be to tie into that sendor and use a digital gauge to display real time tranny fluid temp?

try to get in contact with auto meter gauges the may have someone in the their tech department that could send you in the right dirrection

Damn that's funny, every time I start looking into something, you post the question in a thread :D

I just hooked up a guage set in my tow truck and didn't feel like putting the tranny sensor in, I figured I'd make it work with the oe sensor. I will be doing mine by the weekend so I'll let you know how it goes for me.

The biggest concern with it will be the resistance levels of the sensors at different temps. I'll have to experiment a little to see how it would work.
