OK so with a little feasco(sp?) when installing a shiftkit in my 93 4L60E I ended up installing the street/strip level instead of the heavy/duty level. The reason I did the s/s is because my 3/4 accumulator spring was broken and the s/s level replaces the springs.
So on the the technical part. I am really not liking how the s/s level shifts in the 1/2 I do like the 3/4 shift though. My question is can I reinstall the spring and maybe one spacer instead in just the 1/2 accumulator and leave the 3/4 in the s/s level? Will this make my 1/2 shift a little softer and leave the 3/4 alone?
