Decided on a CORSA side exit sport exhaust and after much research I found this site, called on Saturday, placed an order over the phone and was assured by the salesperson that my CORSA exhaust would be shipped first thing Monday morning. I knew the great price and fast free shipping were to good to be true.
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/bizshop/bdn/corsa/14259.html?apwcid=L1092232221W411a241dbe70a&apwkwd=Corsa+Exhaust+System+-+%2314259
Well after numerous phone calls to customer service to people I can barely understand, I have no information regarding my order. First I was told that they were trying to locate the part in one of their 3-4 warehouses. Then I was told the part was found and being shipped from their Ca warehouse. Then I was told the tracking info would be emailed to me within 24 hrs. Well..24 hours came and went and no tracking number. Called them tonight, even made my G/F call to see if she could get anywhere, she can be intimidating on the phone, all I do is yell and get frustrated, so she got on the phone to get some answers, spoke to a supervisor, and they STILL don't have any info for me. Supervisor claims it's still in processing. At this point I'm ready to cancel the order since I already lost 4-5 days with this stupid order with these dumb jackasses. Figure I would give them one more day, but I have a funny feeling it's still not going to be shipped. I have no faith in these clowns.
Anyone ever order an exhaust from here, or even anything from this place?

The SI/DO I've been looking at costs around $800-900 at Autoparts Wharehouse, but I've been able to find the exact same one on Ebay for $650.
Corsa isn't cheap, but the quality is worth the extra money IMO. In the past few years the most important lesson I have learned is do it right the first time.
I LOVE QUALITY!!

That isn't a bad price. I was looking for #14272 (SI/DO RCSB) and the price ranged from $900-$1100:eek:
I started looking on ebay a bit and found a guy selling the same exact kit for $700 shipped. :rocking:
I'm sure if you do a bit of searching on ebay you will find an even better price. I can send you the link to the seller's store once I get off work.
I can't view ebay at work...but at least they don't block FSC :rocking:

Could you guys please explain to me why its worth so much money?
I dont want to start an argument, I just want to know why its so much better and should cost more than others....from a technical aspect please.

I don't know, I didn't make up the price. But supposedly this muffler is designed so it has little to no drone with these new engines. :dunno: Plus, I believe the entire exhaust, muffler is polished T-304 s/s. And for me I will make a few $ back, becuase I am NOT using the dual slash cut tip that comes with it, so I will be able to turn around and sell that on ebay. The tips are NOT welded on from the factory, which makes life easier/cleaner when it comes time to put on a different tip without the need to cut the one that came with it off.

Take a look at what you get vs. the price. Corsa exhausts aren't that hot. You can get a better exhaust for cheaper than that. :aniteef:

It's all a matter of opinion and preference. I don't want anything too loud, and I've heard the Magnaflow and Flowmaster are really loud. So, I think the Corsa will be just what I want/need.
I found one on ebay for $710 shipped. And since I had play money in my ebay account from things I sold, it makes sense for me to use that money to buy it. So, if I get $75 for the slash cut tip on ebay, the system would have cost me around $635, nothing wrong with that. Yeah, there are some on ebay for less, but they'e NOT for my year truck, seems like exhausts for the older trucks are much less..people are smart I guess..the NNBS trucks are obviously hotter right now cause they're newer.

Well, once I get my exhaust ket installed, I will post a video clip to show everyone why I spent $700 on my exhaust.
It's all a matter of opinion and preference. I don't want anything too loud, and I've heard the Magnaflow and Flowmaster are really loud.
Magnaflows are extremely quiet, sound like a stock corvette and flowmaster makes serveral different versions that are not loud at all. Im not saying you should have bought something else, hell its your truck so get what makes you happy. I am just curious as to what makes it so much more expensive.
Anyway aside from all that...did you ever get an email confirming the delivery?

As you can see Corsa does not use any baffles, or any steel wool / noise dampening material to "muffle" the exhaust noise. Instead they cancel a sound wave with an inverted sound wave so you have no resonating/drone when you're cruising.
On top of that, as previously stated, all kits are made of T-304 SS, are hand welded in shop, have a lifetime warranty, and above all, are dynoed to give excellent performance improvements.
Personally, I love the sound of Corsa, and I think the HIGH QUALITY is worth the extra $100-$200 you will pay compared to all the other brands out there.
This is information on their RSC design
http://www.corsaperf.com/arsctech.htm
This is the 6.2L Vortec
http://www.corsaperf.com/2007_sierra_denali.htm
Magnaflows are stainless and carry a lifetime warranty and I have never had a resonating sound or drone and they too have dyno charts that prove performance gains. I can have a custom catback installed at a local shop for less than $300 and have the exits anyway I choose, so actually the corsa kit is over TWICE the price not just $100-$200 more.
Remember this is a discussion on why corsa is so expensive and worth every penny not an arguement :read:
I havent put an exhaust on my 2008 so this is research for me and others that read this thread.

Nope..called them yesterday and decided to cancel the order once they told me they had no new info regarding any shipping or tracking info... I was ready to jump throught he phone and strangle these numbnuts.
Found one on ebay for $710 shipped, and figured perfect, I could use my ebay 'play money' in my account whch is like found money from things I've sold.
Sold my stock wheels to a local guy on ebay for $600 (he actually lived in my town..perfect!), and finally sold my BedRug too for $250.

I was also looking at a Magnaflow kit, SI/DO pretty much the same style as the Corsa I'm looking at.
The Magnaflow kit through magnaflow.org cost about $450-500 shipped. The Corsa kit I found on ebay (SI/DO) is $700 shipped. So that's where I got the $200 extra.
I was going to go with a Magnaflow kit because all the Corsa (SI/DO) kits I could find were upwards of $1000:eek:
Luckily, I found a much better price and I have changed my mind back to the Corsa.
Magnaflow is without a doubt probably the best bang for the buck; I personally along with others just prefer the sound quality of Corsa better.
I live in the Northern U.S. so Stainless Steel is essential IMO. I don't plan on paying to have my exhaust done once every 3 years because the salt/slush has corroded away my cheap alumunized pipe.

I love how people generalize an entire brand into a single adjective. Like, "Dude, flowmasters are way too loud, maganflows are too quiet". Sure some are, but flowmaster and magnaflow make mufflers on either extreme and all the way in the middle, so to say one brand is "louder" than another is quiet silly.

Just stating what I have read on here, that's all, nothing more nothing less. Magnablow and Blowmaster are probably perfectly fine at what they do

I got my Corsa from them and did have an issue. They sent me TWO systems and billed me for one. I had one hell of a time returning the second one while several people were trying to buy it from me. I finally got them to take it back.
As far as Corsa prices, I consider it well worth what I paid and would do it again over any other option.

I'm not trying to disrespect anyone's opinion or any companies product, im just saying blatent misconceptions like "flowmasters are loud" is greatly limiting your options.
I've never owned a corsa, but have heard they make a good product, and I wouldnt mind trying one if I get the opurtunity.

Well that makes sense. Down here in Texas even steel exhaust pipes last over 10 years and I never keep a vehicle that long so all those selling features dont mean anything to me.
I have never heard a Corsa in person, they just arent as popular as flows and magnas but Im sure thats just because of pricing.

Any of you who take the stock pipes off and put an exact replacement stainless system in its pace are half nuts and confused.
The stock pipes are good for 10 years. almost always are the same diameter as replacement and the only real difference is the Muffler design.
Buy a muffler and have Cole muffler weld it in place and spend 155.00 total like i did ...

I had a similar thing happen to me but with a $1,800 6-burner stainless steel grill. Bought one, had it delivered, it arrived with a dent in it. Called the store, they apologized claimed they would send another one next day. Second one came and had a big scratch on it. At this point I was besides myself. Called and b*tched once again and they said they would bring another one, this time the manager would make sure I got a perfect one. At this point, I had two 6 foot grills sitting on my deck, the delivery guys were hired to deliver and had nothing to do with the actual store, so they didn't want to take any of the two back with them without any specific instrucutions from the store to do so. Not to mention they weighed over 500lbs each. So, the third one came and it was perfect. Again, the delivery guys didn't want to take the other two back with them, even though I told the store to make sure they take these two back with them. They sat on my deck for a week, after 4-5 more calls and some threatening they finally came and picked them up. I should have just sold the other two. They obviously didn't feel like coming to get them...

Actually, most customer service encounters problems as well. But I as a regular customer of Auto Parts Warehouse not at all experienced bad service from them. My ride model is a Toyota Camry 2006 and I ordered a driver side tail light from them (Auto Parts Warehouse) and I received it within two days and I am very much happy with what I ordered since they delivered it on time and my parts were all good and no damage and also their customer service are all pleasant and very easy to talk to. I think that customers should be more considerate sometimes with the staffs.

Okay, most of you guys here must've been buying for some time now and the negative comments here probably came from the "single-purchase" clients. So.. most of the members got their own experience. Now, let me share mine
I've been an autopartswarehouse solid buyer for almost 4 years now including this year so I believe that I am the only one here who can depict what is a real autopartswarehouse service.
I have a '01 Honda Odyssey & purchased several cheap items like KYB Rear Shock Absorber (Gr-2}, Kool Vue Passenger Side Mirror, Replacement Passenger Side Tail Light & more & they got it delivered right on time literally speaking.
I could still remember last March & June 2007 when I tried ordering pricier parts than usual. I purchased an Eastern Catalytic Converter & a Hypertech Power Programmer and the process of ordering is quite a bit complicated than usual. I understand that situation because on my part as a consumer I want to have a secure transaction as musch as possible. Then everything was worth it. I am enjoying my Honda Odyssey more by purchasing items from autopartswarehouse. I am thanking you very much for these very pleasant experience!

Yea-yeah? So what?? Oh-oh-oh, no one told me here that DISCRIMINATION here is allowed? Why would I pretend to have a truck if I don't have one? I won't "pretend" just to "lie". so, which autoparts warehouse do you work at and are trying to talk up, cuz they ain worth that piece of gum that is stuck to the bottom of your shoe that 342 people stepped on already. there service sucks, there customer service is worse, you obviously have to work there or something to be smart enought to talk up that place compaired to any other place out there... hmm. everyone else is right about you and the other guy, you got to work there to try and talk that place up
as for allblkdout, sorry to here that bad luck you expirienced with this company. but hey it does happen even with the best out there, but with some company's, it happens more then others and thats where there terrible reputation comes from. most of you know where I work, and it does happen once in a while, BUT it is how you take care of the customer after the sale is complete is what counts, if the wrong parts sent out, damaged, or if the customer is not satisfied with it, its our job at my place to make sure the customer is 100 percent satisfied with the purchase or you can return it.
some other company's like auto parts warehouse or what ever the name of this run down company is called, live by pushing the customer to the side and tell them to bend over and take it like a b!tch cuz the company doesn't know what they hell there doing.

Yea, dude that's right! Every company has its flaws
some more then others, such as auto parts warehouse. if you want to buy from the best, you have to pay to buy from the best. companies out there with higher prices make up for it in the customer satisfaction, and plus almost all companies if they are smart enough PRICEMATCH to stay competetive, but most people dont know that, as well as they WILL anyways spend more money ust because they know the reputation of that company, people with cheaper prices on their products are always followed up by incompitent workers that dont know there ass from a hole in the ground.
and yeah, the company I work for has it flaws, but no where as many or as much as 3/4's of the companies out there. but they make up for it in customar satisfaction as to where Ebay cant do that, nor any other company will attempt to TRY to do that because they dont want to take the hit of a return, but if you want good service, people know where to go, but if you want good price, people know where to go to, if they dont care about service, thats not my problem at that point. if someone calls me at work with a problem, I make it my problem and resolve it as if I was the with the problem, no other company will do that for you. and trust me I know, I call into places to order, such as 4wheelparts and I get hung up on after a guy tells me to f*ck off because I knew more **** then he did about stuff and proved them wrong on every point. I have called nearly all the most popular companies out there, some are pretty good, auto parts warehouse rarely is, and if you can find an American to speak to there, god bless you.
