I would just like to give an early review of Raammat for anyone considering deadening their truck.

I havent even recieved the product and can tell you i wont buy from anyone else again. The customer service cant be beat by any other company.. period.

I had been talkin with Rick through pm's on DIYMA but he had been on vacation so orders were backed up. Well he got into town today and worked his a** off to get caught up and calls me about 10 minutes before he was closed. He had just gotten through with what must have been a painfully long day of filling a weeks worth of orders and returning emails and calls, yet instead of going home exhausted, he calls me up saying he got done with 10 minutes left and would i like to still order from him?

Having just placed my order from Jacob at Sundown and another order at Madisound, i was really hoping to get my install done this weekend, however if the raammat didnt ship today, it wouldnt be here till monday...

After i told Rick this, i also told him that i wouldnt be able to get ahold of my credit card number till later that night (after they closed and UPS wouldnt ship).

So a guy who has NO clue who i am decides to be a great human and ships my order with 10 minutes left w/o having ANY form of payment from me. He allowed me to call back later with my CC info so i could get my project done on time.

If anyone is thinking about buying some sounddeadner, let me relate Ricks words to you. "sure my product may not be the VERY best, but what seperates me is that im a car guy like yall and love nothing more than Car audio. i make my product as best as i can and sell it as cheap as i can. i just love helping others out and improving their systems."

I can guarentee Rick will take good care of you and do everything in his power to help.

*ill post another review after i install the Raammat.

I've yet to hear a bad review of Rick and Raammat. I too am getting geared up to place an order with him. From the very little I've conversed with him, my mind was made up that Raammat was what I'd be using for anything I touch.

RAAMmat :5stars:
1 roll completly covered both doors, roof, back wall, and extended cab inners and outters.
3 yards of Ensolite covered both door panels and all the plastic trim w/plenty to spare
Prepare to get butyl everywhere and on everything

Rick is one awesome dude, I dont hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
Do you think Second Skin, Dynamat, Cascade Audio would have given you that type of customer service? Not a chance in hades.

I've had similar experiences with second skin. I ordered the wrong material by accident, called him, left a message, 30 minutes later (around 8pm) he calls me back, asks whats up, and i explain to him I made a mistake and ordered the wrong stuff. He said no problem, he'd ship out the right stuff tomorrow morning and I could send him the stuff back with a check for the difference when I got the chance. Every since day one, Ant has always provided me with absolute fantastic customer service.

^would have loved to buy from Ant but the budget wouldnt allow. Not all of us can afford to go off buying random bikes and failing their driving tests! :loser:

Damn cody, you werent kidding! after reading this same post on DIYMA, Anthony says hes going to send me a quart of spectrum to test out, no charge.

I guess the great service is everywhere! (except maybe eDead)

I made an order for 2 rolls of raammat and 10 yards of ensolite last week and Rick sent me an email to tell me that i ordered too much ensolite and he wanted me to consider ordering less. He said he normally only sends out 6-7 yards with an order of 2 rolls. Great customer service there...the guy actually wanted me to spend less money

There are 4.5 rolls of mat in my truck and maybe 12 yards of Ensolite. I have spoken to Rick many times on the phone and will continue to work with him although I too agree that Ant is also one hell of a guy.

and just for perspective thats 20+ dollars Ant gave away because he believes so much in his product.

That is amazing that rick would do something like that for someone. Its the reason why I will never think to buy sound deadning from anyone other than rick and Anthony.

Secondskin = Best Product, Great Value
Raammat = Great Product, Best Value
:10: either way
