Window Switch LED [Archive]

Well am about to order LEDs for the truck. What bulbs are used in the window switch and headlight switch?? Off the top of my head i think 4 t1.5 and 1 b8.5d on. But can anyone confirm that.. I know there is one really small one in the drivers door.

the bulbs are not replaceable in the window switch

unless u are able to source sickly bright leds, it probably will not be even lighting but rather washed out, When I did mine I used leds positioned under the switches there is enough room if u remove the light tubes, then soldered wires onto the contacts on the bottom of the board, completely integrated no extra wires

i dont think they make bulbs that replace them. Theyre pretty small.

I retrofitted a #74 bulb on the headlight switch. I just removed the stock bulb from its holder, and ran the #74's leads through the stock way. Reinstalled it and its workin like a charm. To make it fit better i had to trim the excess plastic off the bottom of the #74.
