Any good alternatives to these TC's? I need a good 1600 stall for my truck when I put the new tranny in, but I don't want to sell my liver, ya know? I know it makes a huge difference with the TM ratio's, I'm just looking for a somewhat less expensive alternative. (700R4 30 spline 4x4)

Just get a beefed up torque convertor. like a B and M or TCI or hughes.

have the stock unit rebuilt by a reputable trans shop and have them up the stall when they do it. I've had a few done this way and it works good, its not like your drag racing or anything so it'll be more than good enough and only costs around 260$ or so

Why only 1600, thats stock isn't it? with your gears and tire size I would go with at least a 2000 to 2200 and add an external trans cooler. That 350Ho will be glad you did.
