Transmission Selection.

I have been searching around and haven't found any information to this question. I want to change out my 5 speed manual transmission for an automatic, but there is another part to the question. I would like to be able to eventually engine swap my 4.3L for a 350 or possibly 383, is there a transmission that will mate up to the 4.3 and one of the other engines?

yes the 4.3 and 350 share the same bell housing pattern. the 4.3 is basically a 350 with 2 less cylinders(same bore and storke).
