I recently pulled out my Hypertech programmer to reset my wheel/tire setup since they are smaller than stock. I have forgotten what the stock gear ratio is.

Does anyone know what the stock gear ratio is for a 1997 RCSB 4.3L 2WD? :think:

have you checked the glovebox for the ratio code go here:

on my 92(2wd) with 4.3 and manual its was 3.08(GU4)

Thanks! I have looked in the glovebox before but I couldn't dechiper the codes in there. When you listed the GU4 that helped, because the only listing I have in there for GU anything was GU6. So my guess is that it's the 3.42 ratio.

Edited: Yeah, I should have maybe mentioned before it was a 5 speed manual.
