I have a Nelson tuned PCM. Will a handheld tuner give me the same power? I have added factory electric fans and want to enable pin 33, and have switched exhuast. So I was going to send PCM back to do these changes, but would rather do it myself than send PCM back every time I do another mod, if I can get the same power, as I plan on adding a air intake, etc.

Where do you send yours off to. I have to send mine off to retard the timing for the nitrous. Handhelds in my opinion are over-rated!

i can see your troubles. You have no downtime and free updates with Nelson.

With either of those, you'll be able to tune and tweak your truck as much as you want. Takes 30-45 seconds to flash in a new tune. I'm running a group buy on EFILive V1 right now on this forum as well. :)

The custom trune guys use HPTuners abd EFILIve to make up custom tunes. Its not the actual tuning product that makes the power, its the person who actually does the tuning.

Getting an in person tune done is best.

It will take you mucho tme and energy to get the same results Allen Nelson does. Even if you had exactly the same tuning equipement in front of you. Its all about experience in teh tuning game.
