1988 alarm help, ASAP

installing my alarm/remote start in my 1988 silverado. everything is going good except for the ign#2 wire. the alarm requires this hook up. cant seem to find the wire. i know:
pink is ign #1
orange is accessory
purple is start
which wire is ign #2?
please help!

If I remeber right that truck doesn't have a second IGN so just hook it up to the first IGN or right on the pink wire coming from the alarm same thing

Just because the alarm/starter has a 2nd ignition hook up doesn't mean it needs to be wired in. You can just cut the wire and tape it up if it is not needed. If you have a 2nd ignition in the truck it will be white.

I have wired the second ignition wire to the #1 ignition wire and it worked fine. You are correct, some models require voltage at the #2 ignition wire to the remote start.
