Tuners.....what's out there?

As far as tuners go what is out there for my 97? I want something that uses my laptop and will write the pcm. I was looking at getting an HPT so I can use it on my grand prix and my pickup but it doesn't say it supports a 97 only 98-00, is there a difference between the 97 and the 98?

Ok so I guess I didn't look hard enough. I found a sticky about TunerCat, went to their website and from there I got lost. It looks as though they have a couple different tuners. If anyone feels like explaining this that would be great. When it came to getting a tuner for the grand prix there was really only two choices and they are both WAY more expensive compared to what I saw at TC.
